Although some places allow you to register a name with up to 63 characters, you have to keep in mind that people need to be able to remember it, easily type it into their browser and spell it correctly. Try to register the shortest name that your customers and visitors will associate with your site. A general rule of thumb is, keep it under twelve characters if possible; not including the .com or .co.uk suffix.
So consider ABClawyers.com instead of AlphaBetaCaphersonlawyers.com. Or perhaps ourmissionstatementistoserve.com could be better as weserveyou.com. Lastly if cheapcars.com is already taken, consider getting manycheapcars.com.
...many many tools. Most used is Adobe's Photoshop. Then Paint.NET is used for some graphics, Macromedia Fireworks for vectors and Pencil for sketching. Some even start out on paper! Most graphics make use of stock photography that relates to the theme of the project. Let us know if you have any graphics or images that have inspired you for your graphics project.

Check what it might look like in different browsers, so that you know exactly what all of your visitors are seeing. The same page looks completely different in different browsers and at different resolutions - be AWARE!
We use a combination of PHP, SQL, CSS, JavaScript and HTML to weave together the perfect site for you. Our main content management system of choice is Drupal.
